Setting an industry standard of excellence
As the demand for bone and soft tissue increases, the orthopaedic community is turning to allograft tissues as a safe and viable option to meet the needs of their patients. But securing procedure-specific allografts from high quality tissue banking resources is only one of the important considerations for surgeons performing allograft tissue reconstruction procedures. Coordination of the graft, along with graft-specific instrumentation, implants and disposables, plus the delivery of these elements, can slow down the process, compromise the timing and increase the cost of the procedure.

ATSI eliminates all of the variables by delivering everything a surgeon needs to perform the most advanced allograft reconstruction procedures. Our one-price approach streamlines the process by combining the highest quality allografts with the most advanced procedure-specific instrumentation and backs it up with our unparalleled service and support. Combining all of these elements in one convenient, cost-effective package sets a new standard of excellence while providing the most complete surgical solutions available.
Surgical Planning
The process starts with the planning. By contacting one of our knowledgeable, experienced ATSI representatives, surgeons can locate and order the graft type that meets the patient’s exacting specifications along with the graft-specific instrumentation required for the procedure. The ATSI representative then coordinates through one of our tissue banking partners to secure the procedure-specific allograft and the precise instrumentation, implants, disposables and any in-service presentation materials required to support the surgeon and the O.R. team.
The complete system delivery date is confirmed and coordinated by the ATSI representative, and the surgeon is notified. Then the purchase order for the graft is processed – which includes all of the instrumentation, technical in-service and motor skills preparation for the surgeon (if required). The ATSI representative delivers the appropriate instrumentation to the O.R. prior to the surgery for in-service with the O.R. staff and coordinates the delivery of the prepared allograft. (Technical support from an ATSI trained representative is available by request at the time of the surgery.) Once the procedure is complete, an ATSI representative facilitates the return of the instrumentation to ATSI.
It’s that simple! Everything a surgeon needs to provide patients with quality care and the best possible results. Our ability to deliver the very best bone and tissue allografts in one complete package makes our process uniquely different, setting us a part and making ATSI the clear choice for surgeons and their patients.
Tissue Banks
By working directly with the most reputable AATB accredited and FDA registered tissue banking resources in the country, ATSI not only has access to the best quality allografts, but our multiple relationships increase the availability of procedure-specific grafts, which saves time and increases our ability to deliver.

Each of our tissue banking resources exceeds the most stringent quality assurance standards in the industry to provide superior bone and soft tissue allografts to ATSI and our surgeons. In return, ATSI provides our tissue banking resources with the necessary feedback from the surgical community to meet the growing need for quality allografts. Knowing and understanding the specific requirements of the orthopaedic community helps our tissue banks develop better resources and safe, effective ways to support and improve allograft reconstruction procedures. Our commitment to this process provides surgeons and their patients with the most carefully coordinated procedure specific allografts, ultimately improving the quality of care and results.
In addition, ATSI is able to provide our tissue banking resources with the highest quality instrumentation and educational programs to support the needs of their clients. Due to our strong relationships, ATSI is able to impact the orthopaedic and sports medicine industry on multiple levels and help to improve the safe and effective use of allograft reconstructive procedures.
ATSI Training Programs
ATSI is committed to being an industry leader in the area of education and support for the training of less invasive orthopaedic surgical procedures, helping to make these procedures simpler, safer and more reproducible. To this end, ATSI offers procedure-specific training and in-service programs as a part of our complete product line. Our training programs center on a few basic concepts:
- Proper handling of procedure-specific bone and soft tissue allografts
- Precision techniques for procedure-specific instrumentation, implants and disposables
- Intricacies of proper post-operative patient care

Depending on the needs of the surgeon and the O.R. staff, ATSI offers in-service training and technical support, along with surgical motor skills training, to promote the best techniques when performing allograft reconstruction procedures. In addition to on-site training, surgeons can request technical support from an ATSI trained representative at the time of the surgery. Whether the surgical team prefers on-site training, or seeks a more formal lab-training environment, ATSI has the ability to provide the most comprehensive education packages to ensure that the needs of both the surgeon and their patients are met.
Surgical Skills Training Programs
With four Surgical Skills Training Centers located throughout the country, ATSI is able to provide our surgeons with access to state-of-the-art lab facilities that maximize skill acquisition and better promote the safe and effective use of allografts. Various certification courses are regularly offered throughout the year and are taught by leading orthopaedic surgeons. Hands-on training is made possible with the use of arthroscopy workstations, which are stocked with a complete inventory of all the latest instrumentation, equipment, and implants. One cadaveric specimen is provided for a maximum of two orthopaedic surgeons per station. Surgeons who are interested in learning more about the Surgical Skills Training Centers should ask their ATSI representative for course schedules and pertinent details.
